SMS Text Messaging Terms & Conditions & Privacy Notice

1. Acceptance of Terms

By opting in to or using the “Text Message Service” offered by Institute of Behavioral Sciences and Technology Family Counseling PC (“IBSTFC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms are between you and IBSTFC, located at 2160 Fletcher Pkwy Suite 105, El Cajon, CA 92020.

2. Definitions

  • Opt‐in / Opting In: When you request, join, agree to, enroll in, sign up for, acknowledge, respond to, or otherwise consent to receive one or more text messages from us.

  • Text Message Service: Any arrangement or situation in which we send one or more messages addressed to your mobile phone number, including but not limited to, SMS, MMS, or successor mobile message technologies.

3. Consent

By consenting to receive text messages from us, you also agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and the privacy policy here: https://ibstfc.com/sms-privacy-statement/, which are incorporated herein by reference.

4. E‐Signature / Electronic Records

By agreeing to receive text messages, you consent to the use of electronic records to document your agreement. You may withdraw this consent by replying STOP (see Section 7).

5. Privacy / Use of Information

  • We respect your privacy. The information you provide (for example, your mobile number) will be used to send you text messages and to respond when needed.

  • We may share information with service providers, telecommunications carriers, or vendors who assist in delivering messages on our behalf. We will not share your information with third parties for their own marketing/promotional purposes without your consent.

  • We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

6. Costs

We do not charge for the text messages you send or receive via this service. However, message and data rates may apply through your mobile carrier, depending on your wireless plan.

7. Frequency of Messages

You may receive an initial message when you enroll or opt in. After that, the number of text messages you receive will vary depending on your use of the service (for example, if you initiate communication, ask questions, request help, etc.).

8. Opting Out

If you no longer wish to receive text messages, reply STOP, QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, or another similar command. After you opt out, you should receive a confirmation of your opt‐out via text message. After opting out, we will cease sending you messages except possibly a final confirmation that you have opted out.
