Over the last 12 years, I have treated well over 100 individual clients with Hoarding Disorder (HD), approximately 50 group clients with HD, and have provided consultation and supervision for many other HD cases. Background and Training:
I received my undergraduate degree from San Diego State University and a Master’s and PhD Degree from Alliant International University. My graduate program is known for their multicultural approach emphasizing it throughout my graduate training. completed an APA internship at the Central Alabama VA Healthcare System in Tuskegee, AL and completed my postdoctoral training at the VA San Diego Healthcare System in La Jolla, CA. I was mentored by a well-known psychologist who treats older adults with HD, Catherine Ayers, PhD, ABPP. From 2016 until 2020, I served as a clinical supervisor for the CREST Community Program that assisted low-income at-risk older adults with HD.
